“I stacked multiple layers of pine plywood, gluing each layer together. Once dried, I ground down all layers to one fluid shape. The surfaces were then properly prepared for the red mahogany stain and polyurethane. 1/4″

Freshome showcased this concept furniture designed for a small kitchen. The kitchen table is called “Accordion” and it was designed by Russian designer, Olga Kalugin. The neat thing about the design is its ability to expand as well as the cool storage areas. I also find the contemporary appearance a “fresh look”. This concept is an entry at the International Design Award in 2009.
